Do you ever wish to have an icy cold Christmas in the Philippines? Eclaro International Philippines makes the season even colder by having Winter Wonderland as this year’s theme for their Annual Christmas Party. Eclaro Winter Wonderland was held on December 3 at Novotel in Cubao, Quezon city. White Christmas is every Filipino’s dream to experience. Snow-capped mountains, wearing layers of winter clothes and skiing are probably topping their wishlist. By reason of being a tropical country that is detached from mainland Asia, the Philippines is an archipelago often visited by typhoons rather than snow storms.

Christmas is the time of year to focus on our blessings, appreciate the special people in our lives, and to give back from the abundance that we have been given. So, corporate Christmas parties are an excellent way to share some of the wealth, say thank you, and make staff feel like they are an integral part of a company’s success. The company Christmas party allows co-workers, employers, and even clients or customers to mingle and socialize in a comfortable environment where corporate hierarchies, department divisions, and job titles cease to exist.

Eclaro Winter Wonderland was designed to celebrate the year’s accomplishments as well as the people who helped make those accomplishments possible. By nature, people love to be recognized and they need to feel appreciated. In essence, they want to know that they matter, especially to the owners, bosses, and even those one rung higher on the ladder. Employees from different departments were given appreciation by recognizing their efforts in achieving all their goals. Loyalty Awards were given to employees with 5 years or more in tenure. Recognition for achievement in sports were given to those employees who joined activities such as basketball and badminton. Prime Awards were given to the BEST employees of the year.

The Eclaro Choral Competition has been an integral part of this year’s Christmas party. Each department should form a Show Choir which is a group of people who combine choral singing with dance, sometimes within the context of a specific idea or story. Four groups gave their best performance to be reigned as the Big Winner.

Food is the most crucial part of every event. It determines whether an event will be successful or not. Chocolate Mousse, Matcha Puffs, Custard Puffs and Chocolate Puffs were served as a light starter or dessert. Savory Dishes like smoked Ham, Grilled Chicken, Shrimp in Creamy Sauce, oriental Beef and Mixed Veggies. I’m a certified chocoholic and I love every bite of the rich chocolatey taste of that Chocolate Mousse and Matcha Puffs. I don’t know what’s the problem with the dishes or maybe I’m just not feeling well that’s why I didn’t even have a second bite on those savory dishes. My friends told me that all of the food tasted really good so I guess it’s not that bad at all.

One of the highlights of a Christmas party is the raffle. Companies usually set a budget for raffle prizes. Every year, Eclaro makes their raffle prizes interesting and worthwhile.

Eclaro is really good in thinking of things that the staff will appreciate. The more gifts, the better. Trip for 2 to South Korea, Trip for 2 to Batanes, 2 Coldplay VIP tickets, Apple Macbook Air 128 GB, iPhone 7, Apple iPad Pro, GoPro, Electric Bike, Canon DSLR and a lot more. Who wouldn’t want to have those great jaw-dropping items?

Capping the night out, Eclaro employees were treated with eargasmic club music together with an open bar. I love to drink and dance so this is perfect for me. I took few shots with my friends at the open bar then we hit the dance floor and we keep on dancing like there’s no tomorrow. Eclaro really knows how to celebrate Christmas and all of us had the best Christmas party ever! 🙂
