My wife and I always look for a new dining places to try and stuff our tummies with. The Block in SM  North Edsa is becoming one of the foodie places in Quezon City. GYRO V is one of the newest addition to the newly-renovated ground floor of The Block.

Gyro V has a very inviting vibe. I was immediately transported to Santorini as soon as I walk closer to this Greek Snack Hub.

The Menu

Gyro V offers Greek Doner or is most commonly known as Gyro. A Gyro is a Greek dish made of meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie, normally pork, chicken, beef, veal, lamb or mutton, or other alternatives.

Gyro V’s Kirchen

You can see the action going on behind their open kitchen and you will be assured that they have nothing to hide. I appreciate the fact that they are preparing your food made to order.

Classic Chicken with Fries- Php115.00

My wife ordered Classic Chicken Gyro with Fries. Classic Chicken Gyro which consisted of bits of yummy chicken on a bed of fresh lettuce and cucumber.

All Beef- Php100.00

I opted to have an all-meat beef gyro. Decent amount of meat was mixed with mayonnaise to add more taste.

Hot Sauce

You can elevate your Gyro experience by adding hot sauce on it. I love the additional spice that warms my body as I munch on my Greek sandwich.

My wife and I both enjoyed our Greek dining experience at Gyro V. The food was so good it left a lasting impression on my palate. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are kept straightforward. It’s really a must try if ever you visit the new wing of restaurants in The Block- SM North Edsa.
