JCOOL is one of the newest desserts place that you should visit in Maginhawa Street. I have fascination with themed restaurants and coffee shops that’s why Maginhawa Street in Quezon City has always been my comfort place.

Me and food buddies (Arni &Mjoy) agreed to have desserts after our sumptuous dinner at “The Pilgrim”. We were tired from watching two films at the UP Film Institute that why we decided to explore once again the famous food haven Maginhawa Street.

JCOOL offers refreshments and Desserts. This is the perfect place for foodies with sweet tooth like me. We were able to talk to Chef Jhong who is the owner of JCOOL. He is very accommodating and friendly. JCOOL sounds like the naughty word “J@KOL” but don’t get confused because JCOOL is a parody of the famous doughnut chain J.CO. J comes from his first name Jhong and Cool from his nickname back in High School.
