Crepeman Cafe is a specialty restaurant serving crepes that recently opened in SM San Mateo last May 15, 2015. They also have branches in the famous food havens Kapitolyo (Pasig City), Lilac Street (Marikina City) and Maginhawa Street (Quezon City).
Crepes started to become an edible trend in the late 90’s, but back then, flavors are only limited to chocolate, mangoes, blueberry and strawberry. Crepeman Cafe is different from other restaurants that offer crepes because they serve both sweet crepes and savory crepes. Savory crepes uses fillings like sausage, ham, beef and cheese. I’m afraid to try the savory version cos I might not like the combination of a sweet crepe and a savory filling.
Choco Loco- Php49.00 Ferrero- Php69.00
Caramel Milk Tea- Php59.00
Crepeman Cafe made their crepe extra thick and cooked until slightly crispy, so that they can be folded into a triangle and eaten like a burrito. Every bite is an explosion of flavors in your mouth. I’m glad that I paired my sweet crepes with Caramel Milk Tea that neutralizes the flavor. I will definitely go back to Crepeman Cafe to go out of my comfort zone and try their Savory Crepes.
