I have seen Ramen Cool a couple of times on previous visits in kapitolyo but never really got the chance to try. I finally decided to try Ramen Cool when my friend told me that she like to try dining at Ramen Cool.

The place looked cozy because of the lighting of the place and the set-up was modern Japanese. Japanse music did a good job of adding more effect to the relaxed ambiance of the place. The place was almost full during dinner time but we managed to have one table free.

I really love how they used ambient lighting to set the homey atmosphere of the place. Around half of the tables in Ramen Cool have sofas as seats rather than the usual chairs. Much attention was given to small details in the establishment, from the dividers used to separate dining spaces to the lamps. Chic and modern best describes the restaurant.

Nabeyaki Ramen- Php265.00

Nabeyaki ramen, like the name hot-pot ramen suggests, is cooked in a piping hot stone hot-pot. The hot-pot retains the ramen’s heat, so when you are served, the soup is still boiling hot, as are of course the noodles and ingredients, and it stays hot the whole time you are eating.

Yakiniku Pork-Php160.00

The meat is very tender and the sauce is very delicious.

Agedashi Tofu- Php95.00

Agedashi Tofu is soft tofu which is coated with potato starch and deep fried so that the outer shell is crispy. It is typically served with Tsuyu (sauce) made of dashi, mirin, and soy sauce is poured over the toppings and soaks the tofu to enhance its flavor.

Chashu Mixed Rice- Php100.00

Salmon Mixed Rice- Php140.00

The Salmon Mixed Rice stands out in the Ramen Cool menu, sitting beside the usual fried rice fare. Flavored and filled with salmon meat.

The servings in Ramen Cool are big and perfect for sharing. I guess I need not ask if I would come back to Ramen Cool — the answer’s an obvious yes. Go ahead and try dining there when you find yourself in the Kapitolyo area, you won’t be disappointed.
