One of the few restaurants that recently open in SM Megamall Fashion is Abé (pronounced as ah-beh), which specializes in Filipino food mostly of Kapampangan origin. The restaurant was named after the late artist-writer E. Aguilar “Abe” Cruz, father of Larry Cruz of the LJC Group of Restaurants. We have a guest from Pakistan and he would like to try some Filipino Dishes that’s why our Team manager decided to have a dinner with him together with the whole team in Abé.
Moving on to the food, the serving sizes at Abé are pretty small, so I suggest you order a bit more than what you would normally do in other restaurants. What’s pretty interesting about Abé, though, is that they offer unlimited rice (Php65.00), which is almost unheard of in places like Abé and is more common in fastfood places. They use good quality rice, too.

A Bistro Remedios original, overgrown tilapia butterfield and fried to delightful crispiness, served with balo balo relish and mustasa leaves

Abé is one of the best Filipino Restaurants that I’ve tried so far. I will definitely go back to this resaurant, next time with my family.
